BTW Mercurial is eating/creating git compatible patches without problems
And featurewise it is really on par with git so there is no reason to switch.
When we at MBDSYS where deciding which VC system to use (after BK sttopped distrubute free version for Open source project) there was basically 2 options Mercurial and git. Git was not supported
on Windows at the so we've gone Mercurial and i even contirbuted some code to the early versions
of Mercurial.
