#398 new defect
Runtime Error!
| Reported by: | Harowen | Owned by: | vadim |
|---|---|---|---|
| Priority: | major | Milestone: | QuteCom 3.0 |
| Component: | 3rd party libs | Version: | 2.2 |

Description
Upon running QuteCom I now receive the error message:
"This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact that application's support team for more information."
2.2.1 was running fine, but I tried installing 2.9.9 beta as I had seen reports that it gets rid of the 100% cpu use issue that occurs while idle.
Upon install of 2.9.9 I received this error listed above. I uninstalled both versions, and added each one back individually and neither of them will run now. Both generate the error message.
Any help would be appreciated, otherwise I'll have to find some other softphone client, and I've been otherwise happy with QuteCom.

I also had this problem. To solve it, uninstall the application and delete the folder "C:\Users\<USER>\AppData?\Roaming\QuteCom". The expression <USER> should be replaced by the Windows users name. Then reinstall the application.

That worked for getting 2.2.1 working again, thanks. 2.9.9 still doesn't work, but no worries, that's just beta anyways.

Oh forgot to mention, this is on Win7 64 Ultimate.
