Call Transfer (Blind vs Attended)

Description

In current version there is a Transfer Call Button in Call Tab but the usage of it is not pretty well.

  1. it does not support attended transfer
  2. the other party will hear DTMF tones when entered in callbar, but this is a requirement for using this button

I would suggest a popup like it is with the conference button - where the user is able to choose between blind transfer or attended transfer! Twinkle uses a nice gui with one field to enter the number and some radiobuttons to choose between "with consultation / without consultation".

Attended transfer is an absolute must for a soft phone in any business environment, so I think it should indeed be high on the priority list.

I would deploy Qutecom everywhere immediately if it would have attended transfer.
